Why the difference in cost to the full Cert IV Course?
FastTrack applicants are not given any study materials and are not actually studying a course as the program is a way for you to prove you already have the knowledge and skill. You will be required to provide evidence, and undertake assessments to provide evidence of your current competencies, knowledge and skills. If you want to learn more about being a veterinary nurse, then looking at a combination of the RPL FastTrack and studying some subjects in full may suit you more.
Option 1: Complete RPL Program Online $2295
If you need to complete all 23 units, we’ll enrol you in 19 core units, and 4 elective units. Elective units are already set into our RPL program, but we can sometimes change these to better suit your needs. This method is online based with a combination of exams and short written assessments and a practical skill sheet to be signed off by your work colleagues.
This price includes an administration and resource fee of $195.
Option 2: Complete RPL Program Offline $2540
If you’d prefer not to undertake an online, exam-based system (see Skill & Knowledge Groups), then our paper based RPL system is for you. You’ll answer written questions instead of completing exams to demonstrate your level of veterinary nursing theory knowledge. Suitable for candidates who aren’t computer savvy or hate exams, this option does require more work. You’ll still undertake some short written assessments and have practical skill sheet signed off by your work colleagues.
This RPL Pack system carries an extra resource and assessment fee of $440. If this is the option for you, let us know during the application process.
Option 3: Partial RPL Program Online or Offline From $286.30
If you only want to complete a few units via RPL, or have relevant credit transfers from older qualifications, this option only requires a $195 administration and resource fee and a per unit fee of $91.30.
If you wish to undertake the Offline version, you’ll be required to pay an administration and resource fee of $440 plus a per unit fee of $91.30.
It’s vital you include a transcript of your previous studies with your application to allow us to give you an accurate price. You will also need to supply a certified copy of your transcript at enrolment.
Option 4: Recognition of UK Qualifications $645
Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse from the United Kingdom, or have completed a RCVS recognised qualification in veterinary nursing and wish to obtain an Australian Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing?
